In 1969 the marinaesque community developed approximately 4 miles south of the Hotel Del Coronado, adjacent to the Silver Strand State Beach was a vision that Signal Landmark Development Company turned into a reality. This eclectic collection of homes is now known as the Coronado Cays.

Affectionately referred to by the locals as The Cays; it is a planned development made up of numerous peninsulas and inlets with diverse characteristics which mimic authentic atmospheres and architecture found in the Caribbean.
